Legal Side of Real Estate Transactions

Course content
In this course, students will gain a basic overview of the legal operation of selected areas of the real estate market. Participants will understand the main principles of institutional leases and will be able to identify key leaseholder and tenant issues in lease contracts. Furthermore, the course focuses on real estate legal due diligence, students will be able to understand the most common issues identified during due diligence and orientate in their possible solutions. Last but not least, the course will be devoted to individual phases of the acquisition process from a legal perspective.
