Course: Accounting in Real Estate

 

 

 

Ladislav Mejzlík is a leading lecturer of the MBARE course Real Estate Accounting. He graduated from the Prague University of Economics and Business in 1984, where he has worked at the Department of Financial Accounting and Auditing first as a lecturer, Deputy Head of Department and in 2006–2014 as the Head of Department. In 2014, he was elected the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the Prague University of Economics and Business. In 1993, he passed auditing exams and in 2010-2014 he was elected twice the First Vice President of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic. Since 2004, he has been representing the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the Prague University of Economics and Business in the National Accounting Council and in 2004–2010 he has represented the Czech Republic in the European Accounting Association. Professionally, he specialises in the use of information and communication technologies in accounting and auditing, and in the regulation and harmonisation of international accounting with a focus on IFRS. In these areas he is known for lecturing and publishing. He closely co-operates with practice, is a member of the advisory commission of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic for accounting, a member and chairman of several audit committees. He works in editorial boards of professional journals and is a member of the scientific councils of the Prague University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Prague University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Economic Informatics, University of Economics in Bratislava and Mendel University in Brno.
