Profile of the Programme

The MBA – Real Estate Investment, Development and Valuation (onward also “MBARE”) aims to provide participants with the knowledge they need to work as experts in the real estate market, such as the microeconomic and macroeconomic context of the real estate market and conditions of financing and investment in the real estate market, all based on the real estate’ market valuation. Participants will naturally also get acquainted with the real estate valuation according to price regulations. The MBARE programme is focused on studying in the entire spectrum of real estate in the international and Czech context.

An integral part of the programme is the construction and legal minimum oriented on the real estate market with respect to the real estate valuation. The courses are set as faculty compulsory modules (“fmP”). The programme is concluded by elaboration of a development project in the form of a state final examination (“oSZ”) on a pre-assigned project, followed by a presentation of the development project to an expert committee.

The MBARE Programme is designed as a four-semester, internationally recognised programme of lifelong distant learning. The programme is included in the study plan of the academic year 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 and organised and guaranteed by the Department of Corporate Finance and Valuation of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. The study is organised as distant, with expert consultations taking place within two-day workshops (Friday afternoon from 2 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.) at the building of the Prague University of Economics and Business, nám. W. Churchilla 4, Prague 3.

The courses are taught by lecturers of the Prague University of Economics and Business and other universities, as well as by renowned experts from practice.
