Course content
The course Real Estate Investment offers participants an overview of the fundamentals of investing and brings them understanding of real estate as an investment asset. Although the course is theoretically based, demonstrations and examples from practice represent an important component of its presentation. Participants will learn about different investment strategies, investor types, and the lifecycle of investment real estate, including the development phase. Room will be devoted to investment decision-making tools, measurement of investment property performance while accounting for various types of risk (interest rate, currency, and market) and the real estate investment portfolio theory. Another thematic domain will focus on the principles and types of real estate financing, including less common instruments and the basic principles of asset management.
