Ing. Dušan Šťastník, MSc. MRICS

Course: Real Estate Investment 

Dušan Šťastný is a leading lecturer of the course Real Estate Investment. He is a member of the REICO expert committee of Česká spořitelna and the investment committee at Upvest Praha, where he is responsible for assessing and approving investment opportunities. He is also an independent consultant in the field of residential development and e-commerce. As a director at Jones Lang LaSalle, he was responsible for running the Capital Markets department with an annual turnover of approx. CZK 100 million. He has many years of experience as an M&A consultant for both the private and public sector in real estate investment, advising the leading international and domestic investors on sales and acquisitions. Dušan is a member of the Royal Institute of Certified Surveyors (RICS), where he also works as an instructor and interview examiner. He is an external instructor in business techniques, financial modelling and property valuation both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Dušan has graduated in marketing and finance at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and also completed a postgraduate study “Commercial Real Estate” at the University of Reading, UK.
