Ing. Marie Baláčová

Marie Balacova is Head of Research department at Cushman & Wakefield in Prague since 2017. Her team collects and analyses commercial real estate market data in the Czech Republic and they have been intensively engaged in business intelligence tools recently. Marie is responsible for consolidation of research methods and database integration with the Central and Eastern Europe. Marie graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and received her M.A. degree in International and European Studies and Diplomacy. She continued at the university as Research Assistant during her Ph.D. studies and focused on international labour migration. Marie received the Fulbright scholarship and became an intern at the Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. During her work at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Marie was financial manager of international projects.
