Measurement Standards

Course content
The course provides its participants with an overview and appreciation of the importance of accurate and notably methodically correct areal assessment of the commercial and residential real estate and the role which measurement plays in real estate (construction technical) documentation and within the real estate market processes, such as rentals. Students will learn the basic measurement methodologies and current trends. Discussed will be market needs for standardisation and harmonisation. Practical demonstrations and the opportunity to test measurement in practice represent an integral part of the course. Last but not least, participants will gain an overview and understanding of the impact of real estate measurement on the value.
